Toni-Ann Singh is a Jamaican-American beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World 2019. Toni-Ann was previously crowned as Miss Jamaica World 2019. She is the fourth woman from Jamaica to win Miss World.
Miss World 2019, Toni-Ann Singh was born in Morant Bay. Later, when she was just at the age of nine she immigrated to the United States, settling in Florida. Moving towards her education Toni Ann-Singh attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she got her graduation in women’s studies and psychology.
Talking about her career Toni-Ann in 2019, Singh competed in the Miss Jamaica World 2019 competition, where she won the title. Later, in the same year, Singh was given the right to represent Jamaica at Miss World 2019.
Toni-Ann Singh’s Journey in Miss World 2019
Toni-Ann Singh left for London in November 2019, in order to participate in the Miss World pre-pageant activities. In the competition, Singh was placed in the top 40 of the Top Model competition and won the talent competition, which directly granted her entry into the top 40 semifinals. Miss World Final was held on 14 December at ExCeL London, where Singh moved from the top 40 to the top 12, and ultimately to the top five. In the same day, 14 December 2019 she was crowned as the winner, besting first runner-up Ophély Mézino of France and second runner-up Suman Rao of India. After winning the title Singh became the fourth Jamaican woman to hold the title.
