Taylor Swift, Katy Perry End Feud In ‘You Need To Calm Down’ Video

Taylor Swift, Katy Perry end feud in ‘You Need To Calm Down’ video
The two superstars, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry put their differences aside by hugging it out at the end of Swift’s video for her latest single, “You Need To Calm Down.”

Swift released “You Need To Calm Down,” the second single from her forthcoming album “Lover,” last week. In the lyrics, Swift calls out Internet trolls, homophobia, and sexism. Shortly after the song came out, Perry posted the first evidence of a defrosting of the icy relationship between the two.

Both Swift and Perry took to Instagram after the video’s premiere to share a photo of their happy embrace.

The pair dances together and embraces in the music video the second single off of Swift’s upcoming seventh studio album, which serves as the official peace treaty between the two pop stars, who publicly feuded for years. Fans who were plugged into Perry and Swift’s every move knew that there was no more ill-will between them, as Perry sent a literal olive branch to Swift in the mail while she was on her Reputation Stadium Tour, and Swift returned the favor last week by sending Perry a plate of cookies that said, “Peace at last.”
